Final leg done, Toyota’s Vios Cup wraps up 2021 season

Toyota Philippines’ one-make race series completes another year despite this one’s extraordinary obstacles.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines, “TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Vios Cup 2021 season concludes in high gear: Dumlao and Rivera win for the Super Sporting Class, Ang and Garrido take top spots for Sporting Class, Garbes, Lao, and Montero dominate the Promotional Class,” 09 November 2021:

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Vios Cup concluded this year’s season with an action-packed finale weekend.

49 racers gathered at the Clark International Speedway last November 6 to join the third and final leg of Toyota Motor Philippines’ premier motorsports program’s 2021 edition. The race weekend proved to be this season’s climax with thrilling developments and some new names entering the top spots.

“Today marks another milestone for the country’s premier motorsports program. We are at the homestretch — the final leg of this year’s races,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto said during the opening program “We have championed over many obstacles to bring the TGR Vios Cup back. And we couldn’t have done this without all of you. On behalf of Toyota Motor Philippines and all our partners, I would like to thank you for your continued support and participation this season,” he continued.

The final leg comprises 3 Circuit Championship race classes – Super Sporting, Sporting, and Promotional with 6, 7, and 17 racers respectively for each class; and the Autocross Challenge with media, celebrities, and influencers as participants.

The double points ruling for the last two races of the Circuit Championship gave racers the chance to zoom ahead of the previous leg’s winners. The defending winners of the second leg put the pedal to the metal to go on full competition mode to secure the championship title.

Starting the weekend with a competitive stride, Jiro Garbes, Jacob Ang, and Pauland Dumlao are the top podium placers in their respective race classes for Race 7.

Racers pushed the limit of grip, with Team Asiatel – OTR Racing Team racer, Jason Lao grabbing the win for the Promotional Class for Race 8. Meanwhile, Eagle Cement Racing Team racer Jacob Ang dominated the Sporting Class while Pauland Dumlao took the top podium spot again for the Super Sporting Class.

Racers Troy Montero, Joaquin Garrido, and Estefano Rivera took the spotlight in their respective classes for the final race of the season.

The thrill continued in the Autocross Challenge with a higher difficulty level during the final run. Racers had to bring their A game maneuvering through more obstacles compared to the previous legs while tackling a different area of the track.

The match concluded with social media personality Jules Aquino claiming the championship title in the Celebrities and Influencers class, with Arron Villaflor and Lexi Mendiola following as second and third placers, respectively. In the Media class, Jose Altoveros ultimately bested the other racers, followed by Enzo Delos Reyes and Paolo De Borja as the second and third placers.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines, “Heart pumping action continues with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Vios Cup Leg 2: Delos Angeles, Anton, Tang, and Rivera take the top spots for the second race weekend,” 21 October 2021:

Manila, Philippines. October 21, 2021: Excitement is back at the race track once again as Toyota Motor Philippines, the country’s leading automotive and mobility company, concluded the second leg of its premier motorsports program, the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Vios Cup. The event was made more thrilling by the surprise appearance of the new TOYOTA GAZOO Racing models – Toyota Hilux GR-S and the Toyota Fortuner GR-S, both of which are yet to be launched in the Philippines on October 23.

Originally slated in September, the second race weekend was moved to October 16 to prioritize the safety of its partners and participants. Racing enthusiasts got to enjoy the heart pumping action at home via livestream on Toyota Motor Philippines’ Facebook channel.

“Thousands of motorsports fans like you joined us online last July, making the return of the Vios Cup a safe and successful one. With more than 48 racers, we challenged the roadblocks of this pandemic. And now we are back, ready for more thrilling track action,” said TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto during the opening ceremonies. “We are so glad to race again at the Clark International Speedway with the reliable Filipino-made Vios.” he continued.

A total of 49 racers competed in the race, with 25 and 24 in Circuit Championship and Autocross Challenge, respectively. Overall 2021 GR GT Cup Promotional Class Winner Jether Miole also joined the fun at the tracks, competing against other racers during the Autocross Challenge and experiencing waku-doki at an actual speedway.

“That feeling of getting on the wheel, on the track for the first time after being used to sim racing is very exciting. And at the end of the event, you’ll suddenly crave for more,” Jether shares after finishing his very first Autocross weekend.

Veteran and rookie race enthusiasts joined the Promotional, Sporting and Super Sporting class of the Circuit Championship with Julia Delos Angeles taking home the 2 out of 3 first-place awards in Promotional Class, while Royce Sarmiento took the top spot for the last race.

“This leg, I really focused and did everything I can to be more competitive. I allotted more time to practice, and whenever I can’t physically be at the track, I’d still try to imagine and practice remotely through my onboard videos. In comparison to the previous leg, I think the main difference was that I stopped pushing myself too hard and just had fun,” Julia said as she shares her winning strategy and learnings from the July race.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines, “Own the power to lead with the Philippines’ best-selling SUV: Those with the power to lead choose the Philippines’ best-selling SUV,” 4 October 2021:

Manila | October 04, 2021–Toyota Motor Philippines, the country’s top automotive company and a firm believer in the value of “kaizen” (Japanese term that means constant improvement), aims to always deliver the highest level of quality across its offerings. From this same mindset originates the Toyota Fortuner – the vehicle of choice for Filipinos with the power to lead.

Embodying top-notch qualities and delivering a next-level driving experience, the Toyota Fortuner has earned kingship within its category. The Fortuner never missed the list of the country’s top selling 7-seater SUVs every year. It has been hailed as the best-selling SUV in the Philippines, having sold more than 230,000 units since 2005.

Peak performance fit for a segment king

A perfect match for brave business owners and visionary young professionals paving their way to a better future, each Fortuner safely guides its owners and passengers as they lead their everyday lives. Arch. Wilbye Manlutac, can attest to the reliability and trustworthiness of his SUV.

Arch. Wilbye Manlutac, attests to the reliability of the Toyota Fortuner since 2007 to present

“My family first owned a 2007 model of the Fortuner before switching to the 2018 model. The older model’s reliability and efficiency served as our main reason for getting the newer version.” Arch. Wilbye shared. “Having experienced two models of the Fortuner, I can say that Toyota does an amazing job designing cars that deliver on both function and form. Luxury and comfort are definitely something that the Fortuner offers at the perfect balance.”

The perfect balance between function and comfort of the Fortuner convinced Arch. Wilbye Manlutac (middle) and his family to patronize the model

A leader knows how to perform — wherever life’s roads may go. Being the king in its class and having been present on Philippine roads for over 15 years, the Fortuner has proven its capability to adapt to new challenges and an ever-changing terrain.

The power to surmount every obstacle is in a leader’s DNA, as portrayed by the Fortuner’s dynamic and fuel-efficient engine. The 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo with air-cooled Intercooler engine under a Fortuner’s hood is more than capable of bringing its owner through great distance and to great heights.

Beyond this, the Fortuner also promises safety — a universal and fundamental quality among all Toyota vehicles. The Fortuner commits to deliver ease of use and peace of mind with its combination of advanced passive and active safety features. Other safety additions available for select variants of the Fortuner are the Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

Premier power and perks

Being ahead of the pack entails knowing how to work hard but also when to play hard. Flexibility spells the difference for those that excel. Being well-equipped for various driving situations, the Fortuner is a worthy companion, whether on new ventures or on daily journeys– as attested to by Crysler David, a Toyota Fortuner owner since 2019.

“My fondest memories with Lisha (my Fortuner’s name) are the long drives I’ve taken with it. Driving Lisha to exciting places like La Union and Pangasinan with my friends is always an adventure,” Crysler said.

Lisha, Crysler’s Fortuner, has been with him since 2019 and has accompanied him through various travels

The Fortuner possesses components that are convenient for road trips and out-of-towns such as a spacious trunk, a stable and adventurous stance and a powerful engine. Select variants of the vehicle also introduce new functional power features such as the Kick Sensor, which enables the boot to open automatically with a simple foot movement to make loading equipment and baggage easier. These features make the Fortuner the vehicle of choice for those who love to enjoy life’s most thrilling moments

A leader on all fronts

True frontrunners set the tone for greatness from the very first impression. The Toyota Fortuner does the same effectively with its striking exterior and signature commanding appearance which emanate confidence and elegance for its owner.

The Fortuner’s premium features go beyond its sleek colorways, machine cut alloy wheels, exclusive bumper designs, and top-quality headlights and turn signals. The vehicle’s interior also offers immersive styling and progressive technology. The inside of the Toyota Fortuner – with variants that boast accented leather seats, interior illumination system and 9-speaker JBL sound system paired with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility feature — is designed to make every passenger at home, wherever the destination may be.

From the outside in, the Toyota Fortuner aims to inspire luxury with its dynamic exterior and premium interior. With all these and more, the Fortuner proves to be a staunch companion — whether when leading in life’s literal and figurative highroads or when leading every new adventure. So, for those who deserve the power, performance and perks of being a leader, the Fortuner proves to be the best automotive partner. Toyota Philippines elaborates on the Hilux being an iconic ute

Toyota Philippines issued a statement relating the Hilux’s versatile dependability with it being the best selling pickup truck in the country and being a mainstay for humanitarian aid and emergency response transport across the globe. With a dozen variants and a million peso spread between starting and top prices, the Hilux is the base vehicle for diverse applications from commercial hauler to off-roading sport truck.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), “Powered by passion and grit: the Toyota Hilux is ready to conquer every course,” 3 September 2021:

Manila l September 3, 2021:  When the going gets tough, you need a reliable companion to get through the challenge. The same is true for drivers and vehicle owners. A car’s ability to deliver when it matters the most makes all the difference — be it on the rough terrain of an off-road adventure, or on the grind for a business, or even just for the demands of daily life. True to this idea, the Toyota Hilux, one of Toyota Motor Philippines’ most iconic vehicles and the country’s best-selling pickup, remains to be the quintessential heart and muscle vehicle that is ready for all of life’s challenges.

The Toyota Hilux is a picture of versatility – ready to conquer any terrain and accompany its owner through life’s adventures.

Strong performance, versatility for different needs

The Hilux exudes strong performance and versatility, perfect for the diverse and many demands of a business.

TMP offers the Hilux Cargo, a rear seatless, windowless, and more affordable variant powered by the same 2GD engine.[1] The Hilux Cargo is specifically designed for the more demanding needs of mobilizing goods and services, be it in the field of agriculture, utilities, transportation and logistics.

Mobilizing and spreading hope

More than just a car, the Toyota Hilux is a symbol and vessel of hope for many amid times of uncertainty. The Toyota Hilux is often the vehicle of choice for humanitarian efforts, here and abroad.

For instance, Toyota Motor Philippines donated a Hilux to the Conservation International (CI) Philippines in 2018 for conservation projects in the Verde Island Passage, one of the richest marine biodiversity in the world. The Hilux was used to aid volunteers      in the coastal clean-up and mangrove-planting along the coast of Lian, Batangas, and to support the entire      marine biodiversity conservation project.

In 2019, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) donated 180 units of the Toyota Hilux to the Philippine Coast Guard (PGC). The Philippine Coast Guard’s (PGC) Special Operations Force and rescue response team uses the fleet of Toyota Hilux to access flood-prone areas and provide assistance to communities during calamities. [2]

The trust in the Toyota Hilux is also mirrored in various countries across the globe. In 2019, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) donated 20 Hilux vehicles to the Yemen Executive Mine Action Center (YEMAC) to transport desperately needed humanitarian aid for Yemenis in need of assistance. The Hilux, along with the Toyota Land Cruiser, was also among the vehicles used by the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) in Liberia for the enhancement of the agency’s mobility in mitigating disasters and disaster-related issues.[4]

Quality, durability and reliability in every inch

A vehicle’s design or appearance and overall efficiency are among the foremost factors considered by buyers when choosing a personal car.

The Hilux’s engine delivers on performance by providing exhilarating power to conquer various road conditions and even scale mountains. The latest generation of Hilux models offers greater fuel efficiency for much longer and tougher rides.

The Hilux is also built to take on the most extreme off-road conditions while maintaining its on-road poise. From the Intelligent Manual Transmission for the Conquest 4×4 MT that ensures a smooth gear shift to the vehicle’s Cruise Control for all Conquest variants that helps maintain speed and distance with ease, the Hilux is ready to accompany its owner on any terrain, sans the strain.

To ensure the safety of both the driver and passengers, the Toyota Hilux packs the most advanced safety and security features across its variants. The ABS+EBD+Brake Assist system and Hill-Start Assist Control give the driver more control.

With features such as reverse camera, clearance sonar and back up sonar for all Conquest variants, and seven SRS airbags, Downhill Assist Control and Vehicle Stability Control for the Hilux Conquest 4×4, any Hilux driver will be at ease to conquer every challenge on the road.

To enable customers, whether first-time buyers or those upgrading to their next Hilux, to choose the vehicle that suits their needs and preferences, the Toyota Hilux comes in a full range of variants. Buyers can choose from the 4×4 Conquest and 4×2 Conquest variants as well as the G AT and MT, and E MT models.

Hilux fans are offered a wide range of options to fit their needs and wants in a vehicle.

50 million Corollas sold underscored by Toyota badge’s present-day hybrids and crossover derivative

Toyota punctuates a historic Corolla milestone by turning the spotlight on the model’s evolution into a hybrid sedan as well as into a crossover sporter derivative. With 50 million Corollas sold as their backdrop, Toyota touts how the classic badge now marks the Corolla Altis hybrid sedan, and the new Corolla Altis Cross and Cross Hybrid crossover SUVs.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), “Meet the new breed of the iconic Toyota Corolla: 50 Million Units Sold Worldwide and Beyond: The Corolla Legacy Lives On,” 20 August 2021:

The Toyota Corolla, a classic car that’s been synonymous with reliability, trust and timelessness since its introduction in the  ‘60s, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and preferred models Toyota brought to the Philippines. A catalyst of widespread car ownership in Asia, the Toyota Corolla continues its heritage of trust and defies the tests of time, cementing its dependability and power with its recent milestone of over 50 million units of the Corolla series sold across the globe.

To continuously deliver top-of-the-line products, Toyota relentlessly improves the classic Corolla lineup to provide Filipinos with a better driving experience. Buckle up as the Altis, Altis Hybrid, Cross and Cross Hybrid take car owners to the future of driving.

Class, Safety, and Convenience

Corolla Altis Hybrid delivers optimum performance on the road while ensuring a responsible drive for the environment

Whether cruising through the city or the countryside, the Corolla series has the best of models to offer, fusing class, safety, and convenience with optimum drivability thanks to the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA).

The Corolla Altis series delivers optimum driving performance with improved moving, turning, and stopping features achieved through the TNGA program, which changes the basic architecture of the cars to greatly enhance basic performance and product appeal.

The classic Corolla Altis is a sophisticated everyday sedan sporting a redesigned circular body structured for maximum stability with thinner front pillars and taller windows that give drivers better visibility on the road. Its double wishbone suspension optimizes wheel motion for precise handling, agility and an absolutely comfortable ride.

Ushering in a new era of hybrid cars, the Toyota Corolla Altis Hybrid or HEV (which stands for Hybrid Electric Vehicle) ensures maximum fuel mileage while helping lessen impacts to the environment with its advanced Hybrid Technology powered by the combination of a gasoline engine and a self-charging electric motor that doesn’t need to be plugged in to an electricity source. The Corolla Altis Hybrid reduces CO2 emissions while producing and storing its own electric power, as it toggles between its two motors, bringing people, technology and the environment in harmony with each other. Manufactured with the environment in mind, the Corolla Altis Hybrid delivers a safe, quiet and fast drive, not to mention a responsible one.

Apart from their elegant physique and optimum drivability, the Corolla Altis and Altis Hybrid put a premium on the safety and convenience of users. On top of the standard safety features such as the seven airbags surrounding the cabin interior for occupants’ protection, the Hybrid variant operates with the Toyota Safety Sense system or TSS. TSS is a set of safety standards designed to help protect passengers which includes Pre-Collision System (PCS), Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) to warn the driver of imminent collision and keep the car centered in its lane.

Toyota celebrates 2021 conservation day by rolling out program for significant environmental impact by 2050

To celebrate World Nature Conservation Day this year, the leading carmaker has rolled out their Toyota Environment Challenge 2050 (TEC 2050) and articulated how this initiative reaffirms their commitment to continuous sustainability for the environment. Toyota asserts TEC 2050 to have sweeping scope that touch on vehicle design, product life cycles, and business processes–all aspects for delivering major benefits to the environment by 2050.

Press Statement by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), “Toyota Motor Philippines pursues environment protection by Thinking Globally, Acting Locally: In celebration of World Nature Conservation Day, Toyota empowers Filipinos to protect and preserve nature for the next generation,” 2021:

More people around the world are taking concrete action to contribute to saving the environment. In celebration of World Nature Conservation Day, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), a leading automotive company in the country, reaffirms its commitment to the environment through continuous sustainability efforts through the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050.

Consistent with TMP’s mission to protect the environment, the company’s Environmental Management System aims to ensure the conservation and protection of the environment by establishing and maintaining a holistic approach in the management system for all TMP stakeholders to achieve the TEC 2050. Its approach covers the vehicle life cycle and business processes that can impact environmental performance based on the company’s targets.

TEC 2050 hopes to address six challenges that impact TMP’s new products and technologies and the community:

1.         New Vehicle Zero CO2 Emission

2.         Life Cycle Zero CO2 Emission

3.         Plant Zero CO2 Emission

4.         Minimizing and optimizing water usage

5.         Establishing a Recycling-based Society and Systems

6.         Establishing a Future Society in Harmony with Nature

As Toyota continues its sustainability efforts across the world, TMP implements measures to help solve the environmental problems in the Philippines caused by humans or natural disasters. TMP, together with its local suppliers and dealers, practices proactive measures to ensure its EMS and TEC2050 goal of zero or negative carbon footprint is achieved.

“Toyota Motor Philippines is committed to long-term sustainability to contribute to the development of the society as outlined in the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 or TEC2050. TEC2050 is our roadmap to achieve a positive impact on the environment by the year 2050,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamato said.

Innovate next-generation vehicles

To pursue its vision of vehicles with minimal impact to the environment, Toyota has been developing next-generation vehicles with low or even zero CO2 emission. In the Philippines, TMP has been offering since 2009 different hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) options to Filipinos, including the Altis Hybrid and Cross.

While TMP has been expanding its HEV product line-up, it also has been using HEVs internally as service vehicles for Team Members. Likewise, it already converted 98 percent of production forklift vehicles to battery-powered and rechargeable one.

Aim for zero together

TMP also works closely with its suppliers and other business partners to achieve sustainability goals. TMP-EMS enhances the eco-design system from purchasing through logistics, embracing the use of renewable energy options to reduce CO2 emissions to improving packaging materials.

TMP also works with dealers to monitor and reduce CO2 emissions through kaizen and renewable energy.

Move to solar energy

Toyota hopes to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to mitigating the adverse effects of climate change by turning to alternative sources of energy. In line with its goal of Plant Zero CO2 Emission in its manufacturing plant, TMP has installed a 1 Megawatt Solar Array in Santa Rosa, Laguna, which supplies 4 percent of plant’s power supply.

TMP continues to seek for alternative technologies and power sources that can adopted. Currently, the company plans to upgrade this with another 0.5 MW Solar Array. With this additional solar power, the company could cut electricity and CO2 to 718,200 kWh per year and 380,569 kg per year, respectively.

Improve wastewater management

Recognizing the growing global need for the limited water supply and keen to conserve this essential resource, TMP recycles water at its manufacturing site. It also harvests rainwater.

The company’s wastewater treatment plant can treat 55 cubic meters per hour of industrial wastewater with an upgraded membrane bioreactor technology. This enables TMP to promote sustainability at its operations by eliminating wastewater, establishing systems that use recycled water and increasing awareness about water conservation. TMP also enjoins its major suppliers and dealers to practice the same initiatives.

Build a recycling-based community

Besides using green technology in its production process, TMP is committed to practicing sustainable and eco-friendly practices across the company. It implements zero single-use plastic in its cafeteria and proper segregation of waste in all offices. In addition, waste minimization and recycling are carried out in both TMP plants and offices.

Through these simple daily practices, employees are encouraged to reduce their use of plastic, recycle and segregate things, encouraging them to be more responsible citizens in or out of TMP’s premises.

Establish a society in harmony with nature

What would be a better way to spend one’s work hours than in a place close to nature?

TMP provides its employees with opportunities to unwind, relax and appreciate the beauty of nature even while working. The company’s 11-hectare eco-forest located inside the Toyota Special Economic Zone in Sta. Rosa Laguna lets employees take a quick break from work to breathe and be one with nature.

The eco-forest likewise helps sustain biodiversity in the area with its growing range of flora and fauna.

The company is also very active in conducting different reforestation activities both in the upland and shoreline. Just recently, TMP adopted 10 hectares of mangrove area in Lian, Batangas which is part of the Verde Island Passage considered as the center of the center of marine shoreline biodiversity in the world.

Eyeing a sustainable future

Protecting the environment for the future generation is a goal accomplished by people working hand-in-hand.

In addition to implementing sustainable manufacturing practices, TMP helps control carbon emissions by providing consumers with an alternative mobility solution through TMP’s hybrid electric vehicle solution that enables consumers to carry out their daily activities without harming the environment further.

Toyota Motor Philippines is committed to sharing its expertise, innovations and experiences in sustainability with its partners and the community to achieve the common goal of a sustainable future for all.

They also offered the following buyer incentives for June:

  1. All-in low cash-out downpayment of PhP85,299 for the Wigo E MT variant.
  2. Light PhP5,276 monthly amortization plans for the E MT variant.
  3. Savings of up to PhP15,000 for outright cash purchases of selected Wigo variants.

Press Statement of Toyota Motor Philippines, “Creativity amid challenges: Local startups find ways to keep going,” 2021:

Filipino entrepreneurs deserve a partner on the road that is as tough and reliable

Manila, Philippines | June 18, 2021–Last year, the Department of Trade and Industry reported a record high 88,000 new business registrations driven by small enterprises, most of which are online entrepreneurs. From home-based bakeshops to gardening essentials, Filipino entrepreneurs showed up with their best and most creative ideas.

But while these are new opportunities for many Filipinos to serve their family and community, one of the challenges they faced is how to efficiently move goods and people. From sourcing raw materials to fulfil deliveries, entrepreneurs need a partner that is as tough and flexible as they are.

The Toyota Wigo is the reliable vehicle partner for every modern entrepreneur.

From the kitchen to the table

Whether it’s a small birthday cake, snacks or home cooked meals, the goal of bakers and small catering businesses is to cook up mouthwatering creations. However, managing a food business isn’t a piece of cake. From preparing the ingredients, putting the design together, cooking or baking, plus dedicating hours to complete the orders, there is a lot of challenges these food entrepreneurs have to face. Delivery should be the least of their problems. Katrina Lui, owner of Pink Kitchen Cakes and Pastries shares, “Aside from the cakes we produce, logistics is a key factor in our business as it affects the quality of the orders our customers receive.”

It saves time and energy to know that there is a reliable partner like the Toyota Wigo to help fulfill orders. With its spacious interior and adequate legroom, there’s sure to be enough space to fit the week’s orders.

Picking up fresh produce and shopping for bulk ingredients from the market? This Toyota hatchback packs more than what meets the eye.

Bringing nature indoors

Speaking of space, plant-related posts have taken social media feeds by storm during this pandemic. Many Filipinos have become plantitos and plantitas, embracing nature more by bringing it closer to home, even indoors. With such strong demand, startup entrepreneurs ventured into selling a diverse range of plants and plant essentials. The challenge these small business owners face is how to safely bring these living things to their new plant parents. Jackie Perdigon, owner of Garden Titas of Manila, explains, “For plant collectors, getting their dream plant in the best condition is key. That’s how we secure the trust of our customers and have return buyers as well.”

The Toyota Wigo TRD S greets its users with easy-to-clean and maintain interiors. It also sports enough headroom for slightly taller plants. Navigating the road also comes easy, even when transporting tall plants that may block the driver’s view.  Thanks to the Wigo’s reverse camera and back sonar’s capability to adjust or retract the side mirrors, one can easily get a clearer rear visibility. It comes with a keyless entry (available in TRD S and G grades) for easy loading and unloading, plus an LCD air conditioner panel (available in TRD S and G grades) that allows convenient indoor air control for sensitive plants that require a specific humidity.

What’s brewing?

Ever miss that all-familiar smell of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air of coffee shops?  Now that most coffee shops operate on limited capacity and friends cannot casually meet over coffee on account of safety protocols, the traditional coffee shop needs a revamp.

Coffee enthusiasts and business owners are finding new, creative ways to bring the favorite drink to consumers through mobile coffee pop-up shops. These mobile cafés are not only safer,  but also exciting and fun. Managing a mobile coffee shop may look tedious and costly, but with a Toyota Wigo, an aspiring coffee connoisseur need not think about monthly rent, shop maintenance, and other utilities.

A mobile coffee kiosk has lower startup costs beneficial to entrepreneurs looking to have their own coffee business

Toyota Wigo’s performance value can power small businesses’ and service providers’ day-to-day. It boasts a fuel-efficient engine under a compact hood. A mobile coffee startup doesn’t need to fret about spending too much on fuel consumption. It’s a practical choice for business owners planning to expand their business reach, while enjoying the scenic views of the country.

An affordable startup business investment

Starting a business requires capital. A vehicle can be a good form of investment, especially for businesses that require sourcing and delivering goods. Being one of the most-browsed vehicles online by Fililipinos , Toyota Wigo  comes with an attractive price best for startups aiming to upgrade their businesses. In line with Toyota Motor Philippines’ (TMP) thrust to provide mobility for all, they offer flexible financial services and promos making it easier to own a Toyota Wigo today. This June, buyers can choose from the following Toyota perks:

  1. Pay an All-in Low Cash-out of PHP 85,200 for the E MT variant.
  2. Pay light with monthly plans as low as PHP 5,276 for the 1.0 E MT variant.
  3. Get as much as PHP 15,000 savings for outright cash transactions for select models.
