Tacloban construction company acquires four Dongfeng dump trucks distributed by PilipinasAuto

Dongfeng Elite Tacloban has turned over four units of Dongfeng K23W 10-wheeler dump trucks to One Myrna Construction of Tacloban Leyte. Dongfeng Elite Tacloban is the authorized dealer of Pilipinas Autogroup, Inc. (PilipinasAuto), official distributor of  Dongfeng trucks and buses for the Philippines. One Myrna Construction acquired the four Dongfeng trucks for their rural development projects in the Eastern Visayas region.

Dongfeng K23W heavy-duty 10-wheel dump truck

The Dongfeng K23W 10-wheeler dump truck can carry 22 cubic meters of payload and could tip the scales with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 55,000kg. The heavy-duty tipper is powered by a Euro 5 compliant 11-liter 6-cylinder Renault dCi11 385-51 common rail-injected diesel engine delivering peak numbers of 385hp@2,100rpm and 1,800NM@1,500rpm that’s mated to a 12-speed direct-drive transmission. The Dongfeng K23W has a list price of P3.660M and is covered with a 1-year/100,000km (whichever comes first) warranty package.

PilipinasAuto general manager Art Balmadrid said, “we all know that the pandemic has a backward impact on a global scale but we are confident that the Philippine economy is showing signs of recovery.” Balmadrid added that, “this can be seen by significant capital investments by key sectors such as the construction business.”
