Hino Motors Philippines (HMP), manufacturer and distributor of Hino trucks and buses in the Philippines, recently held an agreement signing ceremony establishing the new Hino Laguna dealership. The event was meant to underscore Hino’s commitment for providing complete support even under prevailing pandemic conditions.

With a total lot area of around 1,900 square meters, the new dealerships is located at Km. 78 along the Maharlika Highway in Brgy. San Benito, Alaminos, Laguna. To provide long-term maintenance support for Hino customers, Hino Laguna will serve as a complete 3S center offering sales, service and spare-parts under their proprietary 360-degree brand of after-sales service.
Attended by HMP representatives and conducted with strict social distancing and health protocols, the event saw the signing ceremony being followed immediately by the blessing of the new dealership’s showroom. The new Hino Laguna dealership will be managed by Toyota San Pablo chairman Richard Tan and president Tyan Tan.
HMP president Mitsuharu Tabata said: “We recognize the developing truck market in Region IV and its potential as an industrial and commercial hub for businesses. Apart from its rich history and strong agro-industrial sector, the Alaminos municipality also has low susceptibility to landslides and flooding, making it a more favorable location for risk management and disaster control. We want to provide the people of South Luzon with a one-stop shop – from the assembly of chassis and building of vehicle body based on client’s customization needs and preferences to vehicle repair, maintenance, and refurbishing. This is our way of bringing our Total Support promise to them.”
